APPsolute Sires 2024 Auction Closed (#5902938)

The purpose of APPsolute Sires is to promote Appaloosa breeding while supporting the showing of Appaloosa progeny. The APPsolute Sires Sale provides reduced fees to breeders for breeding to eligible stallions. The resulting proceeds are added to the purse of the APPsolute Sires Futurity Program. The APPsolute Sires is offered and managed by the Appaloosa Pleasure Horse Association (“ApPHA”).

The 2024 APPsolute Sires is an AUCTION and will begin December 16, 2023 at 1 pm and end January 21, 2024 at 11 am EST.

All foals by APPsolute Sires sold thru the auction MUST be ApHC Registration Eligible.

All times are Eastern Standard Time zone.

Every effort has been made to disclose all Additional Fees, however undisclosed fees may be owed to the Stallion owner/agent. Please check with the stallion owner/agent prior to purchasing a stallion. ApPHA is not responsible for Additional Fees not disclosed to the ApPHA.

GENERAL RULES

All registered Appaloosa stallions and stallions from the Appaloosa Horse Club (“ApHC”) approved breeds associations are eligible for the APPsolute Sires Sale. Information regarding inclusion in the sale is available from the ApPHA. Information will be available on the ApPHA website and Facebook page.

The APPsolute Sire Sale will be designated for the year following the beginning of the sale. That designation will be the “breeding year” of foals eligible for nomination. The year following the breeding year is designated as the “foaling year”. (EX: Sale begins in the fall of 2022, it is the 2023 Sale, and the resulting foals are born in 2024.)

A stallion owner/agent will donate a breeding for the year following the beginning of the sale. A Nomination/Breeding Contract must be completed before a stallion will be accepted into the sale. The Nomination/Breeding Contract is incorporated herein, and all terms are binding upon the stallion owners/agents and stallion breeding purchasers. The stallion owner/agent is responsible for filling out the Stallion Nomination/Breeding Contract completely including all additional fees required to be paid by a purchaser.

All Appaloosa progeny of sold stallions bred in the breeding year are eligible for nomination into the APPsolute Futurity.

Owners/agents of sold stallions will receive one nomination FREE for a foal bred by his/her stallion and born in the foaling year.

Any stallion not enrolled or enrolled and not sold in the APPsolute Sires Sale may grandfather into the program at any time following the close of the sale for a fee of five hundred dollars ($500). All offspring from that breeding year would then be eligible for nomination. If the grandfather fee is paid by a person other than the stallion owner, a waiver signed by the stallion owner must be submitted to the ApPHA.

A bid is a binding agreement to pay. The winning purchaser for each breeding must submit payment to ApPHA within ten (10) business days of the purchase or before semen is shipped, whichever is earlier. The fee must be paid within ten business days from date of sale. A 3% fee service fee will be assessed for all credit card transactions. If payment is not received in full within ten (10) business days from purchase date, the purchase is void. If a sale is void for non-payment, the stallion will re-enter the sale as if never sold.

Each breeding purchaser is responsible for nominating their foal(s) by filling out the required paperwork/forms & submitting with the correct fees. Failure to submit required paperwork/forms will result in an ineligible nomination.

All the proceeds from the APPsolute Sires Sale will be reserved for the payout purses of the APPsolute Futurity except for one hundred dollars ($100) from each stallion sold will be reserved for the APPsolute Sires Sale and APPsolute Futurity expenses.
